Sargent Appliance InstallationEXPECTATIONS - QUESTIONS AND ANSWERSWhat does installation include?Removal and installation of the new appliance, contractors will supply basic fasteners, fittings, electrical connectors, and sealants/adhesives. Haul away of old appliances are available for an additional change. What does "Standard or Normal installation" mean?Means we will disconnect and remove your existing appliance from existing electrical / gas / plumbing services, connect and install your new appliance to the existing services. It does not include any parts or labor to modify existing services or, to modify the appliance if adequate clearances do not exist. What do i need to do for the day of installation?Please clear a path, remove fragile items from surrounding areas, and provide adequate floor protection when necessary. SARGENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FALLING OBJECTS CAUSING DAMAGE TO FLOORS, CABINETS, AND COUNTERTOPS. What does installation include?It does not include repair or alterations to surrounding mechanical services, cabinets, countertops, flooring, or fixtures. This also includes the removal and/or installation of any existing fixtures, furniture, appliances, doors, or built-in devices. ModificationsModifications could be necessary if your existing plumbing, electrical or ventilation service cannot be re-used or violates new code requirements. Your installer will inspect your appliance and existing services, then have you approve any necessary charges for parts and labor. Your installer reserves the right to decline performing installation service due to existing safety/health hazards, code violations or any other circumstances that pose a risk to the installer or may cause damage to the property. |
